New Tech EMI Systems
Manufacturer of Quality Pipe Inspection EquipmentTechScope EZT-II™
Computerized (Single-Function) Portable EMI Drill Pipe Inspection System
The TechScope EZT-II is a durable single function (transverse flaw detection) console-style analog system designed to inspect drill pipe and used tubing in extreme environments. The 8-channel flaw detection system is a single-board design, same as the popular TechScope EZW-II two-function system.
The electronics console consists of a heavy-duty, high-impact synthetic enclosure with sealed and removable cover. All cable connections are mounted on the top instrumentation panel. The cables have 90 degree connectors to eliminate bending.
The other inspection components are the same (except the signal cable and buggy heads) as the TechScope EZW-II, (i.e. dual buggy drive, mag coils, and air jacks). Capacity includes 2 3/8” through 6 5/8” O.D.. Included is a two-channel digital/thermal printer. Computer data port is mounted on the top panel for optional DAQTech III™ data acquisition system upgrade (110 Volt AC power cable included).
TechScope EZW-II™
Computerized Portable EMI Drill Pipe Inspection System with True-Wall™ Technology
The New Tech Systems’ TRUE-WALL solid state continuous wall monitoring system monitors 100% of the wall surface AND not “localized wall loss only” as on other systems.
The TRUE-WALL system allows the inspection company to detect wall anomalies in both Dynamic AND Static modes. In other words, it allows the operator to detect wall loss while the pipe is moving through the inspection head AND position the suspected wall loss area inside the head and “park” on the exact location of the wall loss and display it in real-time on the computer screen.
The prove up process is much faster since the TRUE-WALL System identifies the exact area of wall loss for the operator. There is no other comparable system available on the market and the TRUE-WALL is proven to be the most advanced wall monitoring system.
VEDAQ-P™
Computerized Dual Function Stationary Drill Pipe Inspection System
(Virtual EMI Data Acquisition System)
The Stationary Computerized VEDAQ-P is a dual function inspection system designed and built by New Tech Systems to perform a reliable and accurate inspection on oilfield drill pipe and tubulars.
Transverse Flaw Detection and exclusive TRUE-WALL Solid State (Hall Effects) Wall Monitoring functions are standard features. NO RADIATION IS USED. The advanced PC based computerized electronics system, heavy duty center-section, pipe handling conveyors and affordable price make the VEDAQ-P the best system in the industry.
The large pipe size range of 2-3/8″ to 6-5/8″ O.D. provides the operator with a very diversified, sophisticated & operator-friendly inspection system. Affordable spare parts prices, and experienced technical assistance lead the industry.

WellTech 4X™
Rig Floor Tubing Inspection System
The WellTech 4X™ computerized PC-based rig floor tubing inspection system is designed to perform a quick and quality inspection of tubing on the well service rig floor as it is being pulled from the well.
The electronics system is packaged in a compact and durable container. Settings (gain settings, wall, split and flaw calibration, etc.) are controlled with the ruggedized laptop computer. Inspection for service-induced flaws typical to used tubing (i.e. pitting, cracks, rod wear and wall thinning, etc.) is performed by a solid state Hall Effect detection system that encircles the pipe, located inside a powerful DC magnetizing coil.
Pipe can travel through the head bi-directionally, but the inspection process takes place as the pipe is pulled out of the well. The WellTech 4X™ utilizes the latest solid state (Hall Effects) wall monitoring technology and DOES NOT USE GAMMA RADIATION.
